Over the past 13 years, he has emerged as one of the liveliest, no holds barred movie critics in America with weekly appearances on over 50 radio stations across country in markets big and small. He is the author of Back Shelf Beauties: Movies You Should Rent When The New Stuff Is Gone, and still can't understand why Ben Lyons is the voice of a new generation of movie critics.

Along with Tim Gordon and Nell Minow, Willie helped establish the Washington, DC Area Film Critics Association to promote all movie critics and level the playing field in an industry where the big dogs get all of the bones.
